CRT Monitor	Users can see what they are typing immediately. They are used with light pens. Used when more than one user need to view the screen and work on it.	They produce higher quality images than the TFT monitor, they work with light pens, and the angle of viewing is better than the TFT monitor.	They are heavy and the weight isn’t distributed properly, they run really hot and cam cause fires. They consume more power, and they can flicker which can give someone headaches.
TFT Monitor	Users can see what they are typing immediately. They are a part of laptop. Used with individuals.	They are lightweight; they produce less glare and consume less power. They don’t generate as much heat as CRT monitors.	The definition is not as good as CRT monitors, the image can be viewed unclear if looking slightly from the side.
Multimedia Projector	It displays data from computers, pictures from televisions, advertising, and video/DVD recorder.	They enable several people to see a presentation.	The image can be fuzzy sometimes, they are expensive to buy and setting them up can be a little difficult.
Laser Printer	They are used where noise levels need to be kept low. They are the best option for fast high quality printing.	Printing is fast for high volumes; they can handle very large printings, the quality is always high. Toner lasts longer.	They are expensive; they are fast only is several copies are to be printed.
Inkjet Printer	They are used where low output volumes are required. Ideal for high-quality single page printout.	The output is of high quality. They are cheaper than a laser printer. They are light weighted and take little space.	Slow if several copies are needed. The ink cartridges run out too quickly if used for larger jobs. They are expensive to run if they are used a lot, since original ink is expensive.
Dot matrix plotter	They can be used in noisy environment and where printing quality isn’t important.	They can be used in dusty, dirty or moist environments. They are very cheap to run and maintain. They are easy to use if continuous stationary is required. Carbon copies or multi-part output can be produced.	They are noisy; they cost more than an inkjet to buy, they are slow and printing is of poor qualities.
Graph Plotter	CAD applications, where large printouts are required.	They can produce huge printouts. The printing quality is really high.	They are slow and they are expensive to buy and maintain.
Speakers	Any application that needs sound to be outputted.
